Landings Real Estate Group is seeking an Accounts Payable/ Property Accountant. We are looking for a professional with excellent organization and communication skills to join our team. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of accounting practices and strong accounts payable skills. Analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office; particularly Excel. Attention to detail is key for the position. Candidates with previous employment experience in the construction industry or property management are highly desirable. Experience with Yardi Voyager system is a plus. A bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent) is required.

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Prepares and processes monthly invoices.
• Posts approved invoices and processes checks.
• Bank reconciliations
• Prepares and posts journal entries.
• Construction requisitions; AIA billing and lien waivers
• Maintains COI and Workers Compensation database
• W-9 Processing
• Research invoices and accounting system discrepancies
• Communicates with clients, vendors, managers and other professionals.
• Assists the Controller by gathering information required for audits, tax preparation and monthly financial reporting.
• Manages and maintains accounts payable filing system.
• Creates accounting files and prepares financial documentation.
• Completes credit applications.
• Supports Senior Management
• Special accounting and ad hoc projects as needed.
